‘Alice’  was deliberately bred in Australia with a cross of  white greggii and  S.dorisiana. The foliage carries some of the perfume of dorisiana.    Dorisiana is sometimes known as fruit salad sage and has a very strong pleasant perfume.

It seems reasonably hardy to frost.   Sun might be the best aspect but both parents take part shade so it no doubt will also.
