This plant is coming through nurseries in Australia from seed mostly purchased from Jellitto in Germany I imagine.    According to Betsy Clebsch’s Book of Salvias it is not correctly named and should be flava so I have it under that name as well!

It is a Chinese plant with base foliage and spikes
