Finngrove is an Australian variation of the African salvia namaensis. Namaensis has a tiny flower and fascinating evergreen crispy foliage. Finngrove has a bit larger foliage and larger flower. It will also grow about twice as big which makes it a bit over a metre. It is a good little rounded hardy shrub not much over a metre and often full of flower.
Namaensis seems to hybridize readily so there are similar variations in Australia.
