Plebiae was thought to be an Australian native salvia for a while.  Further investigation found that it was actually first named in Sydney about 1812 but it must have been brought here from India or somewhere around the Pacific.

It is a nondescript plant,  an annual from what I remember.

I haven’t grown it for a few years and don’t still have seed.
